The sources, used for the descriptions, analogies and musical notation, had been alive and straight most part of the time. All of them had provided the information for a period of more than thirty years. A time frame that allowed the writers to walk freely around Bolivia territory; and also let them found a great variety of artistical expressions, admiring, listening to and performing popular and traditional musical instruments.
In this work the native, ancient instruments (pre-colombinos) stand out as survivors, also the hybrid ones which have come as a result of the european, african, post America conquest (neo colombinas) influences are represented. All of them scattered around the great geography of Bolivia that is formed by the andean mountain range, the platoon, valleys and yungas as the tropical regions also.
