Morenada
the Morenada is a folkloric demonstration of protest against the colonial system. It's characteristic is the sound of the matraca that emulates the sound of the chains that the slaves of that period had. The maracas beat at the rhythm of this Bolivian genre.
This joyful rhythm is played generally, when it's performed by a band, whit charangos, guitars and bombos. When it's performed by a band (orchestra) it is played with trumpets, trombons, tubas and sousaphones.
